MSI has unveiled two new multimedia notebooks bearing the name of MSI CR70 and MSI CX70 and are powered by new generation processors Ivy Bridge.
The difference between both models lies in the graphics accelerator. The MSI CX70 has a graphics card GeForce GT 640M with 2 GB of VRAM, while the MSI CR70 has Intel integrated graphics.
As for storage, both models offer as option HDD SATA 500 GB/640 GB/720 GB and 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. These laptops integrated optical drive and a DVD burner, and sport a 17.3-inch screen with LED backlit 1366 x 768 pixels.
There is a 5-in-1card reader, a webcam, SRS PC sound, and operating system Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed.
In terms of connectivity, both multimedia notebooks are equipped with an HDMI 1.4, D-Sub (VGA standard), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 (up to 24 Mb/s data transfer rate) two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports.
Unfortunately, still no word on what the price range.
