Lenovo is concluding a week with several developments in laptops. At IdeaTab hybrid, they add another device in convertible range loaded with Windows 8, but this time, it does so from the sidewalk of the equally popular and professional ThinkPad.
This new laptop called ThinkPad Twist, the first Windows 8 convertible tablet of Lenovo, is equipped with a 12.5 inch screen that can give “back” and become a tablet to make more extensive use of the touch features of Windows 8, to which a keyboard can not draw ‘the juice’.
The IPS panel, protected with Gorilla Glass, offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and as mentioned at the beginning, is able to rotate 360 degrees on its axis. Inside, you met with the gamma Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7, up to 8GB of RAM and internal storage of 128 GB SSD format, always taking into account the configuration purchased.
The tablet measures 0.8 inches thick and weighs about 3.5 pounds. Lenovo says the battery should be good for up to 7 hours of run time.
The launch of the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge Twist will take place on October 26, on par with Windows 8. Its base price will be $ 849.
