Asus announces new Android tablets

Like Acer, Lenovo and Toshiba, Asus has also announced new Android tablet at CES 2012. These are the Eee Pad MeMo, and an improved version of Transformer Prime called Transformer Prime TF700T.

The new Prime TF700T resembles the original model, but has a 10.1-inch screen with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels instead of 1280 x 800. In addition, the front camera is 2 MP, and the back plate of the tablet has been redesigned to enhance the wireless connectivity. All other features have not changed.

Asus Transformer Prime TF700T will launch in North America in the second quarter with a price starting from $ 599. It has the latest OS, Android Ice Cream Sandwich. And by the way, the original Transformer Prime seems to be getting an update from ICS today.

This tablet will come to North America quite possibly in the second quarter, also with the latest mobile OS, Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
