The book has 448 pages is the first authorized biography of Jobs , considered a visionary technology planning in projects such as the Macintosh computer, iPod, iPhone and iPad.
According to the Barnes and Noble in the United States, biography is based on over 40 talks with Jobs that were made during a period of two years, and in interviews with more than 100 “members of the family, friends, adversaries, competitors and colleagues”.
“Although Jobs contributed to this book, he asked not to have control over what was written , not even the right to read before publication,” said Barnes and Noble.
“He did not put any limit, on the contrary, encouraged the people he meets speak honestly, even his enemies, ex-girlfriends and colleagues who had ever fired or angry,” he said.
Isaacson, executive director of the Aspen Institute, a center for reflection and analysis, has already written biographies of Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein and that of Henry Kissinger.
