Sony will soon start selling a new laptop that is named Sony Vaio Series E 14P.
While not an ultrabook, the device is pretty slim, 22.4 mm thick. One of the characteristics is that the notebook offers style gesture control of Sony Kinect Sports that allows users to use gestures in front of a webcam of 1.3 megapixels for commands Internet Explorer 9, Windows Media Player, PowerDVD and Power Point.
Coming in the color options black, white and pink, the heart of Sony Vaio Series E 14P is a dual-core processor Intel Core i3-2350m at 2.3GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB hard drive (5400 rpm) and a DVD burner.
The Sony Vaio E Series 14P laptop features a 14 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and AMD Radeon HD 7670M GPU with 1GB of VRAM. In terms of connectivity is Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 + HS, two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. Its battery allows up to 7 hours of continuous use.
The price of the Sony VAIO Series E 14P has not yet been released.
