Two of the possible cameras that Sony will display at CES 2012 were discovered through a wing of the company.
The Sony Cyber-shot W630 seems to be a replacement for the W570 and have a 16.1 megapixel sensor, a 5X magnification lens with 25mm wide angle and video capture at 720p. The software so far would be similar and would focus on the Sweep Panorama mode. Highlights could be the inclusion of 2 GB of storage.
If you want a simple camera, the Sony Cyber-shot W610 will be the replacement for the W510. This camera would have a 14.1-megapixel sensor, a 4X lens with a focus from 26 mm, and mixing software. It would also include 2 GB of storage.
Sony China has already set the price for W610 and W630 models which are equivalent to $ 166 and $ 206, about $ 50 more expensive than their counterparts in the U.S. market.
Sony bring these cameras on 9 January at CES 2012 and will begin shipments probably not long after.
