So many rumors about the first Android powered camera have culminated, as South Korean Samsung has just officially announced this new gadget at IFA 2012.

Samsung Android powered camera is equipped with an HD display (LCD) of 4.8 inches along with a 21X zoom lens and a 16 megapixel sensor BSI CMOS. Although it is a camera, this Galaxy will have a quad core processor 1.4 GHz, 8 GB internal memory, a microSD slot, a 1,650 mAh battery and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Samsung’s Galaxy Camera comes in three different versions – Wi-Fi only, 3G and 4G – and will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
