Nokia pays homage to the legendary 3310 presenting three smartphones at MWC

There was much talk of the return of Nokia in the smartphone market, and everyone expected a triumphal entry into the Android world, and so it was. With a line-up for 2017 with up to 7 devices equipped with the green of irons in the fire robot software for Nokia and HMD, the Finnish company that owns the rights to the brand , there is really great.

Presented recently, Nokia was the sixth highest grossing in China , with over a million pre-orders and stocks of shale flash disappeared in no time. HMD has now forwarded the invitation to the press to wait at a presentation event in which, in all probability, will present additional smartphones.

According to rumors it would be three terminals that may be presented: one speaks of two Android smartphones, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, and a feature-phone inspired by the mythical Nokia 3310, the Nokia 150.

Nokia 5 could have a data sheet similar to the Nokia 6: processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM expandable (support dual-sim, Ed). But the display is resized, becoming 5.2″ HD resolution (1280 × 720 pixels), as well as the 12-megapixel camera.

Not much is known about Nokia 3 and its technical configuration, but being the offer according to the Android world we can assume a diagonal 5″ or less with HD resolution display and a Snapdragon processor 425 / Mediatek. Interestingly the price proposal for the whole line-up : in Europe the 3 Android configurations for the lower-middle end of the market should differ by only € 50 from each other. This would place the Nokia 6 to 249 €, the Nokia 5 to 199 € and the Nokia 3 to 149 €.

Even though most surprising of HMD / Nokia choosing to produce a feature-phone, a phone without advanced features but designed to be used mainly for what it is: a mobile device with which you can call and send messages. Nokia pays homage to the legendary 3310 with this new Nokia 150, a device that follows in the footsteps of his legendary predecessor, taking up the iconic features that have made it successful: extreme resistance, infinite battery and flawless reception. Very interesting is the price at which it is proposed, only 59 €: a device that could have a huge hit among nostalgic of the old glories of Nokia. Let’s just hope there’s Snake on board for fun in boring moments of the day.
