Motorola has introduced its new smartphone on its official website, the Motorola Atrix HD. As shown in the picture, the phone will be available in AT&T, but no word on release date or price of this phone.
The Motorola Atrix HD seems designed for business users, it has the Webtop application, the business-ready security, VPN, and mirror mode to produce documents directly from the phone to a big screen. With a splash resistant body, this phone is covered with a glass panel Gorilla, also Kevlar for added strength. It has a titanium finish and soft-touch plastic.
Runs on the Android 4.0 OS Ice Cream Sandwich, offers the Motorola software SMARTACTIONS. This HD smartphone has a dual core processor at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal user storage, and a battery of 1780 mAh.
The exterior sports a touch screen 4.5-inch HD with Colorboost and resolution of 1280 x 720, a rear camera of 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and a 1.3MP front camera.
In terms of connectivity, there are micro USB, HDMI, 802.11abgn Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR LE, and 4G Mobile Hotspot for up to 5 Wi-Fi. Another feature is a slot for microSD cards (up to 32GB), micro SIM card slot, and the usual set of sensors (proximity, ambient light and accelerometer).
