If we start to think I share a computer will surely come to our heads the Raspberry Pi, which has an amazing plate with a size similar to a credit card, but with guidance at a more advanced than other solutions on the market. Not only Intel NUC but there are others as Gigabyte BRIX.
The Gigabyte mini computer was launched in May this year, and now in September the company will update its components to suit the latest hardware. The latest generation of Gigabyte BRIX have a Haswell processor designed to deliver higher performance, but staying in a range of processors within quite normal when compared with other processors on the market.
The new Gigabyte BRIX will not be very powerful computers to make 3D designs work or play a game with very high graphics. But it will have sufficient performance for those users who use applications in current use.
The computer will have four models that use Celeron, Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 in versions U, which traditionally is destined as Ultrabooks because they offer low power consumption. An interesting aspect is that contains Intel Graphics Iris 5000 so you can have graphics support 4K.
Its dimensions are approximately 11 x 11 x 3 inches, like its predecessor, and as usual in case the company is sold including the motherboard and processor. Computer Buyers must incorporate a RAM, storage and must install your operating system.
Its price and availability
So far none of the models will be officially available in Europe and the company claims that will be announced shortly availability. It is a very interesting but the price is a little high, since the earlier generation can be found from the 250 euros. The price is not excessive and if the user searches for something small is a computer to keep in mind, but if the physical appearance does not matter, you can find more interesting things in the market.
