The ultrabooks no longer make as much noise as last year, but companies are still committed to this ultra-thin notebook market with good features, ideal for users who need power and a small, lightweight laptop.
In this case, 13.3-inch version which has two new models with interesting news. The Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A notable for having a resolution of 1080p. Moreover, it maintains the characteristics of previous models: a slim design that reaches 3 mm at its thinnest part, and a weight of only 1.3 kilos.
In terms of hardware features, the notebook have Intel Core i5 or i7, 4 GB of RAM and SSD to 256 GB. It also includes WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. Besides presenting VGA, HDMI and Mini Displayport.
The other model is called ASUS Zenbook UX32V, that is characterized by having a dedicated graphics in this case the Nvidia GeForce GT 620 1 GB of memory. Besides Intel, includes a 24 GB SSD hard drive with 500 GB. This model is less than 3 millimeters of Asus Prime, but its thinnest reaches 5.5 mm.
Both devices will be available from mid-July and prices will vary by model. The Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A may be about 1299 Euro, while the Asus Zenbook UX32V may be purchased for about 899 euros. Apparently the idea of Intel to lower prices has not resulted in Asus ultrabooks strategy.
